WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYONE ELSE'S BUSINESS MODEL THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR ? Trust me when I say I understand the economy is in the tank. Hell, I am a casualty of this mess. I am upside down in my house by about 35K. And that is only because we put 75K down on the purchase.
You see, I understand the sine wave theory of economics. The idea that everything has a “cycle”, sometimes up, sometimes down. Ok, totally fine with that.
BUT!!
There are one hell of a lot of people who KNEW they were screwing the economic pooch. These financial “used car ASSHOLES” KNEW that McDonalds Crew Chiefs DO NOT MAKE $100,000 A YEAR!! They KNEW unskilled illegal aliens, and the 47 other illegals living with them in a one bedroom apartment, can not afford $750, 000 homes in Pasadena, CA!! They DID know they were fucking the financial pooch and they did it KNOWING that they better get theirs because, hell, “Well, everybody else is doing it!! And besides what will they do if they catch me? Make me run for public office because I fucked the public over better than the bastards in office do now? ”
To paraphrase that “Structured settlement” rip off advertiser that is on at all hours on cable TV, “It’s YOUR money and _I _want it NOW!!!”
The consequence of all this is that I am responsible to pay everyone else’s bill 4 times.

I want to buy this house. Have to be in a lottery, have to show up every week, have to put money down up front, have to decide colors at time of contract, yadda yadda yadda
We started looking at this house, it was 240K and was going up 5K every week. In fact, we were going to give up and walk away after the last weekend we went to stand in the lottery because WE KNEW WE COULD NOT AFFORD IT if it went up again…

Yes, we were drawn, and within 3 years went from purchasing a 300K house to owning a 180K house for exactly the same price...
Then our fair city, since it is booming, decides everyone “deserves” a raise…up go taxes. And now seeing as the tax revenue is tanking, they are cutting services instead of rescinding the raises. So I am paying inflated rates for services they do not even provide…

Now you need to note the order he puts things. People are the last thing he cares about and the blanket statement that “car dealers are the city's largest source of sales-tax revenue.” is so goddamned stupid that it defies anything approaching common sense. Unless I somehow missed something in basic economic theory, “The People” are the ones who are your #1 source of tax revenue. And so this absolute fucking genius is giving away The People’s money to get more of The People’s money!!!

Who is in jail for causing the loss of $5 TRILLION of OUR money? Maddoff? Ok, he got caught being to greedy with "Famous" people's money to the tune of 500 million... Let's see 500million goes into 5 trillion... uh carry the 9, divde by 83, minus the 10% to congress, set aside the golden parachute.... 0.1% is the amount he "controlled." Not lost, mind you, not stolen, not used to jet set around the world, CONTROLLED. He MAY have lost upwards of $80 million, but just for giggles call it the whole $500M he "lost". Okay so we have a guy that stole 0.1% of $5 Trillion. Who is responsible for the other $4,999,500,000,000.00 that the taxpayers lost?? And yet here we are going deeper in debt to give ourselves a "Cash Advance" in the form of a "stimulus package"????!!!!!!!!!! Just send all the bastards to a very close guided tour of the sun and be done with it.
